Workplace psychosocial safety now has a system

TeamLife makes the invisible visible. A practitioner-delivered continuous psychosocial risk governance system that turns weekly data into constant progress and helps you act before harm occurs.

Across Australia, managing workplace psychosocial hazards is now a legal duty.

Since December 2025, every state and territory in Australia has required employers to consult their people and run a system that identifies, assesses, controls and reviews psychosocial risk.

TeamLife enables the compliance you need and the performance you want.

Weekly 30-Second Surveys
A short, continuously varying survey that takes about 30 seconds to complete in the app each week. The questions change week to week, drawn from an extensive bank, so emerging hazards surface early rather than at the annual review.
Secure software that continuously measures psychosocial hazards and allows trends and insights to be evident through clear dashboards and reports.
A 15-minute weekly conversation where the team talks through their data, what it indicates, and agrees on actions to progress, without anyone sharing their individual scores.
The independent practitioner who runs the system within an organisation, so privacy is preserved, insights are improved, and the system is effectively embedded in practice.
A structured review that identifies and considers hazards, controls and outcomes and produces a board-ready, workplace safety-aligned report, while preserving individual privacy.
From redesigning work to implementing interventions, everything you contribute to the betterment of an organisation can be measured using TeamLife, which in turn helps you refine and adjust your focus — making you, ultimately, part of the system.

Bullying index

ILLUSTRATION

Higher is safer. The first intervention was reactively triggered by a formal bullying claim. The second was proactively triggered by a declining signal — harm was avoided.

Potential risks show in the data, before cost or harm

A hazard like bullying rarely appears overnight. Instead, it builds, and its signal typically falls week after week. Continuous measurement enables these types of trends to be identified, so action can be taken before harm occurs.

The illustration shows two bullying incidents in one team over twelve months. Before the first, TeamLife was not used in risk identification, no early intervention was possible, and a claim followed. Before the second, TeamLife detected a bullying signal, an intervention occurred, and harm was avoided.

Employers and people leaders

I want TeamLife for my organisation

Meet your workplace safety psychosocial duties with a continuous system that identifies hazards, records controls, and gives your board defensible evidence, delivered by an independent accredited practitioner.

The point is timing:

act before harm, not after

TeamLife’s weekly data collection enables you to intervene early based on patterns detected, and to promptly review the effects of interventions and changes, instead of reacting after a claim or resignation, or wondering whether the control you implemented is effective. TeamLife’s four steps align with the identify, assess, control, review cycle that workplace safety regulators expect.

1. Measure

Everyone answers six short, app-based questions on their phone, about 30 seconds, drawn from an extensive library covering hazards and the other leader-critical measures that are otherwise invisible.

2. Reflect

The team spends 15 minutes reflecting on and discussing what the data is showing and agrees actions for the week, at an individual or a group level. Individual scores are never shared.

3. Intervene

Progress is driven by the actions determined in huddles, as well as more formally through interventions and controls the organisation or practitioner introduces, such as training, leadership programmes, coaching, or redesigning work. Each is logged and dated.

4. Review

The same measures that detected problems also show whether interventions and controls work, and enable leader-ready, board-ready, regulator-ready governance reports to be produced, with no individual responses.

Why TeamLife? It has three things a survey tool or in-house solution will struggle to give you

Weekly measurement means risk is detected and addressed as it emerges. A tool that measures once or twice a year, or a post-event approach, cannot do this, and cannot prevent harm.

Continuous, not periodic

Risk is visible week by week

Every hazard, control and review is recorded and dated. If your safety regulator asks, there is a structured record of due diligence.

Defensible documentation

An auditable evidence trail

TeamLife is run by accredited practitioners, so the system is embedded in your operating rhythm rather than left as software to figure out.

Delivered, not just supplied

Practitioner led

Accreditation, in plain terms

Accreditation is the programme that qualifies a practitioner to deliver TeamLife. It trains coaches, consultants and HR professionals in the use of TeamLife and its methods, licenses them to use the platform with their clients, and supports them as they run it.

Put simply: TeamLife is the system, and accredited practitioners are the people trained and trusted to deliver it well.

Satisfy a regulatory duty and build a robust recurring practice

Your clients have a psychosocial duty they cannot meet with occasional surveys and reactive controls. Accreditation lets you deliver TeamLife as the answer: a diagnostic entry point with new clients, the basis for ongoing engagement, and the ability to validate the effectiveness of your own coaching or consulting interventions on a simple-to-use platform your clients will appreciate.

Evidence your approach, don't abandon it

Most practitioners have a method they believe in and clients who value it. TeamLife does not replace these. Instead, it lets you accumulate evidence about the effectiveness of your own approaches. With simple functionality, you can track the impact of any initiative you run with an organisation, so you can measure and evidence your impact month after month.

Case Studies from Australian
workplaces using TeamLife

Over two consecutive 12-month periods, a team running weekly sessions with an independent facilitator had significantly better psychological safety and culture than the same team once it shifted to self-managing. The independent practitioner was doing real work.
Significant fall in psychological safety once independent facilitation was removed.

Independent practitioners produce better safety and culture

Risk is visible week by week
Bullying, exposure to traumatic events, sexual harassment, gendered violence, high work demands, engagement, psychological safety, fatigue, burnout risk, and so many others. A comparison of TeamLife signals to serious workplace events over six years has helped us to refine the platform. Whilst every situation is unique, our objective is that the trajectory of a specific hazard signal reflects what it aims to detect, not noise.
Movement in TeamLife’s hazard signals and wellbeing indices reflects real-world context.

Instrument Validation

After a senior leadership change, more than 90% of TeamLife-monitored signals significantly improved, including psychological safety, job-demand strain, and adherence to the team’s desired cultural behaviours, revealing that leadership style had been a hidden source of pressure. Only continuous data made the pattern visible.
The benefits of improved leadership is measurably visible.

Frequently asked questions

What are the new WorkSafe requirements and why does TeamLife matter?
From late 2025, Australian work health & safety laws now require organisations to manage psychosocial hazards at work, using a system that identifies hazards, analyses risks, implements controls and reviews effectiveness. TeamLife helps you do all these and also build and improve your business and culture at the same time.
Engagement surveys are helpful snapshots. TeamLife helps you go further – by turning insight into action, and action into ongoing improvement. It’s about building a rhythm of understanding, responding, and learning over time.
TeamLife is built for continuous improvement. It brings together real-time insight, practical action, and a supported delivery model – so you’re not just measuring work, you’re actively making it better.
TeamLife is designed for leaders and professionals who want to make a real difference – HR and People & Culture teams, safety and risk leaders, executives, and consultants working in complex, people-focused environments.

Yes. TeamLife aligns with current WHS expectations and supports organisations to take a structured, well-documented approach to managing psychosocial risks.
Psychosocial hazards are aspects of work that can cause psychological or physical harm. Common examples include bullying, sexual harassment, aggression or violence, high job demands, poor support, and exposure to traumatic content. TeamLife measures these weekly, so they surface early rather than after a claim.
The law expects a continuous cycle: identify the hazard, assess the risk, control it, then review whether the control worked. TeamLife runs that cycle for you, using short weekly measures to identify and assess risk and to show whether your controls are making a difference.
Regulators can issue improvement or prohibition notices, and serious breaches can lead to prosecution. Beyond the legal exposure, unmanaged risk drives claims, turnover and lost productivity. Instead, TeamLife gives you a defensible record that you are actively managing the duty and helps transform your team’s entire experience of work.
Psychosocial risk shifts from week to week, and an annual survey cannot keep pace with it. TeamLife measures weekly, in about 30 seconds per person, so emerging hazards are visible as they develop rather than months later.
Yes. Psychosocial duties now apply in every state and territory, and TeamLife is delivered nationally by independent accredited practitioners, matched to your sector and size.
